just looking at this makes me want to cry, too. (-_-)
:c wah so sadddStory behind this? Her dad was leaving on a 2 year deployment. She was crying, and wouldn’t let go of her dad’s hand, even when he stood in line, saluting. No one had the heart to break them apart.
i’ve reblogged this like 470348 times, i can’t not reblog it everytime
:((
Hay. Paano ba ko lulugar nito.
I hate being a girl. Ang emotional kasi. -_- Or tama lang naman.
History right here. Will peace ensue? Maybe, maybe not. I really don’t see the need for war. I’m sure we can figure out a way to fight off terrorists without endangering lives and killing innocent people.
Oh, but I’d go to war when it’s against aliens or zombies. I’ll be the first to line up for a shotgun.
End Of An Era of the Day: Early this morning, the last US troop crossed the Iraqi border into Kuwait, closing the door behind him.
Literally: “The gate to #iraq is closed,” tweeted NBC News’ Richard Engel. “Soldier just told me, ‘that’s it, the war is over.’”
Approximately 100 MRAP armored vehicles with some 500 American soldiers on board made up the very last column to leave the country. The trek from their base to the border lasted five hours.
“I just can’t wait to call my wife and kids and let them know I am safe,” said Sgt. First Class Rodolfo Ruiz when the company was in sight of the border. “Hey guys, you made it,” he later announced to his soldiers, with Iraq, and the war, to their backs.

The Museum of Broken Relationships
“Everyone has had that moment – days, months, even years after the end of a relationship, when you come across something inextricably linked with that person. The Museum of Broken Relationships collects those trinkets – everything from poems to a grand piano, nasal spray to necklaces. It’s a magnificent, moving show, simultaneously both intensely personal and completely universal.”
The museum lover in me would go to this.
But I don’t think I have anything to contribute. At least, not yet.
We got together because we missed each other.
We did get together and I still miss you all.
:-(
Another one, soonest! :-)
Finally!
Since Feb 2011, I keep bumping into Nikki and Riva and at the weirdest places. Like a bus station in Cubao, Republiq, and the Masskara Festival. We took it as a sign that we girls better go have a decent dinner.
It finally happened Friday night and Cat, an AIESECer and Pulag buddy came a long.
It was unexpectedly fun. Since it has been a while we all hung out, I thought it’d be awkward. But it seemed like we haven’t been away from eachother so much. There was a falling out of sorts, but all is good. :-)
Matanda na kami.
Although I may have shared more than I ought too…
That white blazer of mine came handy anyway. I suddenly give expert personal and relationship advise. Not the first time it happened. Hahaha.
